Leona Ellen Elrod 91, of Chino, died peacefully on January 5th. Leona was born on December 22, 1921 to Russell and Grace Scism. She married Cecil Elrod on January 7, 1942. Leona and husband Cecil owned and operated Elrod and Sons Meat until their retirement in 1976. She is survived by her daughter Connie, son Earl and his wife Sondra. She is also survived by her sister June and brother Gene, as well as four grandchildren, Shannon, Conrad, Dylan and Shayne and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Cecil. She will be greatly missed and will live in our hearts forever.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 11th at Pomona Cemetery located at 502 East Franklin Avenue in Pomona.
