Isaura Bettencourt Rocha

Isaura Bettencourt Rocha, 64, of Chino, passed away August 22, 2010 at home. She was born August 18, 1946 in Agualva, Terceira, Azores, Portugal and was a Chino resident for 36 years. Isaura was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Ontario. She fought a long battle with breast cancer and was a fighter until the end. Isaura was always smiling and laughing and kept her spirit and hopes up and her trust in God. She will be sorely missed by all her family and friends. Isaura was a wonderful wife and mother who is survived by her husband of 30 years Jose Rocha; daughter Nancy Rocha; siblings Alcide Borges, all of Chino; Francisco Bettencourt of Los Banos, CA and Abilio Bettencourt of Agualva, Portugal; and many other family members and friends. A visitation will be 8:30 a.m., Saturday, August 28, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Ontario. Recitation of the holy rosary will be at 9 a.m. with a funeral mass beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the church. Entombment will follow at Bellevue Memorial Park in Ontario.
