Christina Valencia

Christina Cortez Valencia, age 47, passed away on April 16, 2013 at Chino Valley Medical Center. Christina was born on August 11, 1965 in San Bernardino, Ca and was a lifelong resident of Chino. Christina was a loving daughter and proud parent and grandmother. She leaves behind her husband Ronnie Valencia daughters Andrea, Jessica and Corrina Valencia, son Ronnie Valencia Jr., and granddaughter Erika Castañeda. Christina is also survived by parents Johnny and Theresa Cortez, brothers John Cortez Jr., of Nipomo, Anthony Cortez of Fontana, Ted Cortez of Chino and Sister Maria Cortez of Ontario. She is preceded in death by her brother Eddie Cortez of Nipomo. Christina worked as a cashier at Superior Grocers in Chino and loved her job, coworkers and friends. She always made sure to be at every one of Corrina's and Erika's soccer games and was their biggest fan on and off the field. Christina will be missed by all who came to know this beautiful hearted person with a smile and a personality that will never be forgotten! Services are as follows; Visitation will be Friday, April 26, 2013 from 4-5p.m. followed by a rosary at 5:00p.m., with funeral mass at 6:00p.m. and final viewing from 7:00-8:00p.m. Services will all take place at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Chino.
