William Dale Stephens

Mr. William Dale Stephens, 62 of Salisbury, passed away on February 17, 2015 at his residence. Born on September 22, 1952 in Rowan County, he was the son of the late Wesley Leonard Stephens and Mary Frances Shoaf. A graduate of North Rowan High School, he was a member of Enon Baptist Church. Earlier in life, he was a truck driver for Thurston Motor Lines and later after receiving his degree from Rowan Cabarrus Community College, he became a LPN working for Lake Norman Regional Medical Center. In addition to his father, he was preceded by his wife Carol Goodman on December 7, 2013. Those left to cherish his memory are his children; Chris Stephens of Salisbury and Leslie Denise Collier (Gary) of Woodleaf. Also surviving him is his sister Gail Stephens Shelton (John) of Denver and half sister Angela Bates of Charlotte, grandchild Makenzie Annette Stephens and great grandchild Natalie Grace Owen. He was also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be on Friday from 2:00 til 3:00 at Enon Baptist Church in Salisbury with memorial service at 3:00 also at the church with Rev. Ken Clark, minister.
