Theresa Gail McMillan

Born on January 29, 1962 in Mercer County West Virginia, she was the daughter of Claude and Blaina McMeans Nunley. A graduate of Alleghany High School in 1980, she was a member of Dayspring Community Church in China Grove. Earlier in life, she worked for Concord Telephone Co. and then became owner operator of Southern Style Events and Catering. She loved to do crafts, sewing, cooking and loved to travel and loved the beach.Theresa was a loving mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, those left to cherish her memory is her husband of 34 years, J.R. McMillan, son Brandon McMillan (Milly) of Shelby, daughter Lauren Dendy(Brent) of China Grove, grandson Noah Dendy and granddaughter Ellison Dendy.

Visitation for Mrs. McMillan will be on Thursday from 4:00 til 6:00 at Dayspring Community Church in China Grove with memorial service at 6:00 also at the church with Pastor Gerry Steedley presiding. Additionally, another visitation will be held on Friday from 1:00 til 2:00 at Grandview Funeral Home in Sparta with memorial service at 2:00 also at the funeral home with burial at Piney Creek United Methodist Cemetery.
