Shirley Geraldine Beaver

Mrs. Shirley Geraldine Leach Beaver 71 of Kannapolis, passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Tucker Hospice House. Born on December 24, 1946 in Rowan County ,she was the daughter of the late John Henry and Naomi Wells Leach. Educated in the Rowan County Schools, she worked for many years for Dal’s Bread and Bolts and Enochville Food Center. Shirley enjoyed going to the beach and fishing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers John David Leach, Curtis Leach, Robert Leach and Carl Leach. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Tommy Beaver, children Scott Ewing (Elaine), Chris Ewing (Amy), Kelly Hodge (Rodney), Jeff Ewing (Jenni), Donna Wallace (Jeremy) and Wendy Gaston (Myron). Also surviving her are her sister Priscilla Hughes and grandchildren, Greg, Christopher (Stefanie), A.J., Michelle, Blake, Makayla, Tabatha, Tyler and Colton as well as great grandchildren, Layla, Ryan, Braylon, McKenzie and Torin.

Visitation will be on Saturday from 2:00 till 3:00 at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove with funeral following at 3:00, also at the funeral home with Rev. J. R. Beaver, minister.
