Mrs. Sandra Joan Thompson Roseman, 69, passed away quietly at her residence with her devoted husband and family at her side. She was born February 12, 1948 in Cabarrus County, the daughter of the late Jasper Smith Thompson and the late Nellie Emma Compton Thompson. Educated in the Rowan County Schools, she was a graduate of South Rowan High School and Evans Business College. She was a secretary at Catawba College for 34 years until her retirement. She is a member of First Baptist Church of Enochville and enjoyed camping, vacationing with her family, spending time with her grandchildren and husband.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister: Vera Thompson Hill.
Survivors include her devoted husband of 49 years, Norman Carl Roseman. Daughter: Tena Roseman Campbell of Rockwell. Son: Christopher Norman Roseman and wife Natalie of Concord. Brother: Joe Harold Thompson and wife Evelyn of Mooresville. Four grandchildren: Kaleb and Noah Campbell and Jacob and Mackenzie Roseman, all of Concord.
The family will receive friends on Monday, June 19 from 12:30pm – 2:00pm at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home of China Grove. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00pm in the Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lewis Whittington and Rev. David Wyatt officiating. Burial will be at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.
