Sandra Ann Mitchell

Mrs. Sandra Ann Mitchell, 69 of China Grove passed away on Monday March 14, 2016 at the Tucker Hospice House. Born on January 23, 1947 in Rowan County, she was the daughter of the late Frank James and Alice Beaver Goodman. A 1965 graduate of South Rowan High School , she also graduated from Salisbury Beauty College in 1971. She was a faithful member of Mt. Zion United Church of Christ. She was owner operator of Sandra’s Beauty Nook for 30 years. Those left to cherish her memory is her husband of 50 years, Edward Wayne Mitchell, and her daughter Susan Renee Ritchie (Brian) of Kannapolis, grandchildren, Justin Campbell (Carly Goldin), and Kadie Campbell (Scott Anthony), and step granddaughter Ashley Ritchie. She was also survived by her special family member Dale Shuffler (Wanda)

Visitation will be on Friday from 12:00 til 2:00 at Mt. Zion United Church of Christ with funeral at 2:00 also at the church with Rev. Mark Burns, minister. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.
