Myles Davis Pope

Myles “My My” Davis Pope, age 1, of Kannapolis, NC, passed away on May 21, 2024, in Concord, NC. He was born on June 10, 2022. Myles was known for his happy, loving, energetic, and smart nature. His hobbies included playing outside, playing with his animals, dancing, and throwing the ball “up high”. Although his time here on earth was short, he made a huge impact. He was a beacon of light and he only knew the love and happiness shown to him by his family and friends.

Myles is survived by his father Timothy Franklin Pope, mother Morgan Rodgers Pope, grandmother Shannon Rodgers, grandparents Timothy and LaVonne Pope, his great grandmothers Grace Reynolds , Polly Langford, and Peggy Pope, great grandfather Pressly Beaver and wife Candi Leyvas, as well as his loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandfather Barry Rodgers, great grandfathers Harold Reynolds and Leonard Pope, and great grandmother Marlene Beaver.

A private graveside funeral for close friends and family will be held to honor Myles’ life. The services will be held with the assistance of Linn - Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove, NC.

Rest in peace, Myles. Your memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved you. Our greatest blessing was having you as our son.
