She was born January 2, 1933, in Rowan County, a daughter of the late Joe Thacker Bradshaw and Roxie Ervin Bradshaw.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years Max R. Caudill. She was also preceded by her sisters, Evelyn Abernathy, Edna Gilland, Frances Cox, Gladys Dancy, Letha Clontz and brothers, Carl and Jack Bradshaw.
She is survived by sons Roger Caudill (Janice) and Mark Caudill (Cindy) Three grandchildren Jesse, Cory (Kenzie), Krista (Michael) and four great grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.
Mildred was a very Godly woman with an infectious laugh. Her greatest joys in life were loving her family and taking care of her home. At the age of 80, she was still sitting in the floor playing with her grandchildren and playing ball with them outdoors.
The family will receive friends Thursday, December 12, 2024, from 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM at New Hope Lutheran Church, Kannapolis, NC.
The funeral service will begin at 1:30 PM at the church with burial to follow at West Lawn Memorial Park.
