Joseph Brian Smith age 49 of Kannapolis passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Atrium Health Cabarrus.
He was born on November 1, 1974 in Cabarrus County and was the son of the late James WIlliam Smith and Deborah Jane Cadieu Smith. Educated in the Cabarrus County schools, he worked in the restaurant business. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching sports and racing.
Those with cherished memories are his sons, Jostian Smith and Jordan Smith as well as brother Steve Smith (Sherry) and sister Diane Beck (Mark) and aunt Susan Shoe.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at 6:00 pm at Main Street Baptist Church in China Grove, with Pastor Billy Beaver, officiating.
