Jewell Elaine Ingram

Jewell Elaine Ingram, age 79, of Salisbury passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Mercy Hosptial in Charlotte, NC Jewell was born on November 17, 1944 in Oakland, California and was the daughter of the late Clarence Ben Jacobs and Jewell Edna Johnson Jacobs. She worked for many years as a cook at Camp Adams in Oregon, where she lived for many years before moving to North Carolina. In addition to her cooking, some of her favorite things to do was watching soccer and being with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Lucinda P Baurer and her sister Judy Mallonee. Those with cherished memories are her daughters Amanda Correll (Ken) of Salisbury, NC and Andrea Wasserman (Perry) of Prescott Valley, Arizona and son George Ingram (Olivia Legarda) of Albuquerque, NM. Additionally, she was survived by her 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove, NC from 12:00 pm till 2:00 pm
