He attended Rowan County Schools. Mr. Morrow worked at National Starch Chemical Co., formerly Proctor Chemical in Salisbury for 43 years. He was a veteran of the Korean War in the US Army, serving on Pork Chop Hill and stood guard on the 38th parallel.
Survivors are his wife, Ollie Garver Morrow, sons William “Bill” Morrow (Linda) and Larry T. Morrow both of China Grove. Also surviving him are his grandchildren Kimberly Brasington, Tracy Goodman, Lorrie Surratt, Dustin Morrow as well as 6 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Mr. Morrow was also survived by his sister Louise Vaughn (J.W.) of Kannapolis and brother William “Billy: Morrow of River Ridge, La.
Visitation will be on Tuesday from 6:00 til 8:00 at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove with funeral on Wednesday at 2:00 at Rodgers Park Baptist Church in Kannapolis, with Rev.
