Born March 5, 1948, in Cabarrus County, she was the daughter of the late Banks Alexander Deadmon and Zenna Bare Deadmon and sister to the late Cindi Tarlton. She attended church when she was able and loved the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior.
Libby spent the tail-end of her career working at Noah’s Dime Store in Landis, NC. Her greatest accomplishment was her loving care and devotion to her family. She adored and cared for them greatly, as they meant the world to her (including her 4-year-old pup, Khloe).
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 52 years, Mike Wilhelm, and her daughters, Angie (Danny) Weaver and Shelly (Theron) Smoutherson, as well as her son Shane (Misty) Wilhelm. She also leaves behind her grandsons, Caleb Weaver, Davin (Estefany) Wilhelm, Auston Wilhelm, TJ Smoutherson and Jaiden Smoutherson, along with her granddaughters, Logan Weaver and Asheton Wilhelm, and nephew Chris Tarlton.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 20, 2023 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home.
