Dorothy Irene Ball, age 83 of Salisbury passed away on Monday, March 21, 2022 at Novant Kiser Hospice House. Born on October 22, 1938 in Rowan County, she was the daughter of the late James Arthur Ball and Gladys Marlow Ball. Ms Ball was also preceded in death by her brother Andrew Ball and sister Evelyne Ball.
Ms. Ball was a longtime member of the Church of Christ of Latter Day Saints. She worked for Howard Johnson Motels as a housekeeper and Pioneer Manufacturing and Cannon Mills Swink Plant as a custodian.
Those left to cherish her memory are her brothers Willis Ball, Marvin Ball and Samuel Ball and sisters, Lorene Burgess and Linda Tidwell.
Visitation will be on Saturday, March 26, 2022 from 10 :00am till 11:00 am at the Church of Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1255 Julian Rd. Salisbury, with funeral service to follow at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Latter Day Saints Cemetery on Ball Mill Road. North Wilkesboro, NC.
