Dennis A. Miller

Mr. Dennis Alexander Miller, 60 of Kannapolis passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at his residence. Born on August 1, 1955 in Cabarrus County, he was the son of the late Jimmy Alexander Miller and Shirley Temple Bullard Miller. Mr. Miller was a 1973 graduate of South Rowan High School. He was a longtime employee of (YRC), Yellow Roadway Freight, where he was a dock worker. He was well respected by management and his peers. He served in a key capacity on the safety committee and played an influential role on others.

He enjoyed camping and going to the beach with his family and friends. He also liked NASCAR racing and earlier in life he enjoyed racing motorcycles. In addition to his father, Mr. Miller was preceded by his sister Sandra Miller Benfield. In addition to his mother, those left to cherish his memory is his son Chad Alexander Miller (Ashlie) of Landis and girlfriend of 21 years, Donna Kluttz and brothers James "Jimmy" Miller (Janet) of Rockwell and Martin Dwayne "Bo" Miller (Teresa) of Salisbury. Also surviving him are his grandchildren, Chase, Josiah, Asher and Arrowlyn Miller.

Visitation will be on Sunday From 2:00 til 4:00 at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove, with funeral at 4:00 also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park.
