Born in Iredell County on August 3, 1960, he was the son of the late Earl Dennis Massagee and Goldie Julian Massagee.
In addition to his parents, one sister, Vickie Tomlin and two nieces, Andrea Williams and Holly Faulkner, also preceded Dale in death.
Dale loved being around his family. He loved running errands and spending his days with his sister, going out shopping and to eat. A highlight was “Cousin’s Day”, when they all went out to eat as a family. Dale worked as a carrier for the Salisbury Post, having retired December 31, 2022.
Those left to cherish his memory are his sister, Cindy Williams; nieces, Kendall Williams and Keisha Caldwell; and his long-time friends, James Bryson “Bubba” and Destin James “DJ”, both to who he called his son and grandson.
The family will receive friends Sunday, February 19, 2023 from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home.
The service to celebrate Dale’s life will start at 2:00 PM in the Northcrest Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. James Pauley officiating.
