Carolyn Elizabeth Freeze Faggart

Born in Rowan County on August 10, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Marvin Edward Freeze and Rachel Elizabeth Sherrill Freeze.

In addition to her parents, her husband, Marvin W. Faggart and her brother, Murray E. Freeze, also preceded her in death.

Carolyn was a life-long member of Mt. Moriah Lutheran Church, where over the years she had sang in the church choir, worked in the nursery, and loved helping with Vacation Bible School.

She retired from Cannon Mills and enjoyed going to the coast to fish and canning vegetables.

Her family that will cherish her memory are her sons, Randall (Susan) Faggart and Reggie Faggart; her grandchildren, Michael Faggart, Rebecca Sanchez, Jonathan (Amanda) Faggart and Nate St. Louis; and her great-grandchildren, Emery Sanchez, Alex Sanchez, Audrey Faggart, Abby Faggart, Hoke Faggart and Fletcher St. Louis.

The family will receive friends Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held Sunday, January 28, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Mt. Moriah Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastor Tim Kneuss officiating. Entombment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park.
