Bryce Darnell Brown

Mr. Bryce Darnell Brown, 65 of China Grove passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at his residence. Born on October 16, 1951 in Rowan County, he was the son of the late Homer Brown and Dora Sutton Brown. A 1969 graduate of South Rowan High School, he was of the Lutheran faith. Having retired from Duke Power for many years of service, he was a self employed bail bondsman. He was an avid gun collector

and gearhead. His hobbies and interests were whitewater rafting, motorcross and dirt track racing. His love for his pet Doberman dogs was very deep. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his son, Jonathan Brown. In addition to his mother, those left to cherish his memory is his wife of 13 years, Colleen Harte Brown, daughters, Donna Huffman (Billy W.) of Landis, and Paula Collins (Cory) of Concord and son Patrick Hughes (Tosha) brothers, Everette Brown of Salisbury, Mark Brown (Donna), Neil Brown (Pam), Jody Brown (Tammy), sisters, JoAnne Edgison (James) Jennifer Torrence and Sheree Brown (Robbie) all of China Grove. Also, he was survived by 9 grandchildren and his best friend Gary (Wildman) Hillman.

A celebration of life of Bryce will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2017 from 1:00 til 4:00 at Mt. Moriah Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall in China Grove. Memorials may be made to the NRA at [email protected]. or
