Bobby Gene Morris

Mr. Bobby Gene Morris age 89 of China Grove passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Atrium Health Cabarrus Medical Center. Mr. Morris was born on July 19, 1932 in Rowan County and was the son of the late Grady Morris and Annie Karriker Morris. Bobby was a graduate of Pfeiffer College and served his country in the US Navy during the Korean War. Professionally, he was an insurance adjuster working for USF & G insurance. In his spare time, Bobby loved to go bowling.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 62 years, Carol Strider Morris and daughter Patricia Morgan (Billy Ray) as well as 1 grandchild, 5 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Visitation will be on Monday, June 6, 2022 in the China Berry Room of Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove from 1:00 pm till 2:00 pm, with funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm in the Northcrest Chapel of Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home. Burial with full military honors will be performed at West Lawn Memorial Park at 3:00 pm.
