William "Bill" Douglas Bishop

Bill Bishop passed away peacefully on January 10, 2014 at Chilliwack, BC at the age of 86. Bill was born in Kent, England and immigrated to Canada in 1957, living in Calgary, AB until moving to Chilliwack, BC in 2008. Bill was married to Barbara, the love of his life for 61 years. He was a wonderful Dad, Granddad, and Great Granddad. Bill’s yard always had the greenest grass and the prettiest flowers. His singing rivaled the birds he loved. Bill was always ready to lend a helping hand and share a joke. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of being part of his life.

Bill Bishop will be lovingly remembered by his wife Barbara Bishop; children Kevin (Gayle) Bishop and Julie Pariseau (Peter Schreurs); grandchildren Vincent, Hope, Sydney, Ryan, Shannon (Calen), Aaron (Jason), Joanna (Danny) and Robby; great grandchildren Blake, Sonja and Oliver and sister-in-law Joan Sealey.

Memorial donations may be made in Bill’s name to the Chilliwack General Hospital Foundation.
