Bill was the youngest of 5 children born to Peter and Augusta Rilling. He was born and raised in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. In his youth he worked various jobs before joining Corrections Canada. He stayed there for over 30 years before enjoying his retirement with his loved ones. He met Margaret in 1971 and they were together until her death in 2009.
His family was very important to him and they could always count on him to help with anything from a hug to help with home renovations. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, son and brother.
He was pre-deceased by his wife Margaret, sons Gerald and Martin, grandson Matthew and granddaughter Holly. Parents Peter and Augusta, his brothers Phil and Ken, sisters Edith and Esther.
As the end was getting near he expressed joy and peace with the thought of being with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
