Wendy Doreen Major

Cherished mother of Andrew Upper (Lauren), Jennifer Upper, and Peter Upper (Sandy); grandmother of Trenten Upper, Kristian Upper, Nicholas Upper, Megan Upper, Arran Upper, and Matthew Upper; sister of Daniel Lobb (Haeyoung), and Harry Lobb (Kary); aunt of Bryan Lobb and Ian Lobb (Sarah). Wendy was predeceased by her mother Eileen Lobb and her father Harold Lobb.

Wendy was an elementary teacher with School District 33, in Chilliwack, specializing in French, First Nations topics, and the environment. She was also an artist of the Monet and Van Gogh schools, taking a special interest in painting out door settings. Wendy was active in the Anglican Church participating in wayfarers hikes, canoe trips, and bible study activities; she believed strongly in forgiveness, helping others in need, and taking care of the environment, including agricultural land preservation and water stewardship.
