Michael Patrick Grace

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Michael Patrick Grace on May 5, 2020 in Chilliwack BC, from complications arising from Covid 19.Michael was born to Gerald and Monica (Corwin) Grace at Ottawa General Hospital April 10, 1931; the 5th of 8 siblings. In 1962, Michael moved his then-young family to the Vancouver area, where he lived til his recent passing.

Michael carved out a successful career in the automotive business and retired comfortably at 63. He enjoyed life on the farm, gardening, breeding race horses and the track, his boat and trips to the casino.

Michael is predeceased by his daughter Leslie, and survived by sons Kevin, Christopher and daughter-in-law Linda Rutledge, Corwin, Jeremy, daughter Kerry and son-in-law Murray Proudfoot, 8 grandchildren, sisters Kathleen McDonald, Patricia Berdnikoff, Martha and Tom Coulson, many cousins and nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to the compassionate nurses and aides at Eden Care Centre, and to front-line workers everywhere—not just during this terribly challenging time, but for always.
