Marion Elaine Darbyson

Marion Elaine Darbyson (nee Trotman), born on November 17, 1940 in Toronto, Ontario, passed away at the age of 83 on August 23, 2024 with her loving husband Edward and her daughters Cheryl & Tracy by her side in Chilliwack, BC. Marion was cherished as a wife, mother, grandmother, sister in law, aunt and friend throughout her life. Known for her wisdom and spirit, she was a pillar in her family, always ready with a wise crack or a knowing smile, claiming to know everything-just ask her!

Marion leaves behind her loving husband of 66 years Edward (Sam) Darbyson, and her daughters Cheryl Levy and Tracy Lea. She was a proud grandmother to Tyler Levy (wife Robyn), Chelsey Levy, Wesley Wein (wife Kelly) and Dani Wall (husband Tom), and a great grandmother to Nora, Halle, Baron, Teddy, Shea, Clementine and Wilder. Her legacy of resilience will live on through them. She was preceded in death by her beloved son in law Wally Levy and her dear friend for more than 50 years Pat Elliot. In death, Marion is at long last reunited with her infant son Robert Ross Darbyson. May they find in heaven what they could not have on earth.

Marion's life was marked by her unwavering support and love for her extended family and lifelong friends, a testament to her strong character and the deep bonds she fostered. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who had the privilege to know her.
