Margaret Alice Corbett

October 25, 1933 - June 18, 2022

Margaret Alice Corbett (Smith) of Victoria BC was Promoted to Glory on Saturday June 18th, 2022.

She was born October 25th, 1933, in an outpost of Porcupine Plains, (Carragana) Saskatchewan to William and Fanny Wright who had recently immigrated from Scotland.

Margaret moved to Chilliwack in 1944. She married Fred Smith in 1959 and gave us two wonderful children, Cathy & Brad.

Besides her parents, Margaret was predeceased by her husband of 19 years Bill Corbett, Brothers James, Robert, Anthony, and Sisters Fanny, Isa, Evelyn, and stepson in-law Graham.

Margaret will be dearly missed by her daughter Cathy (Les) and son Brad (Lori), stepdaughters Sandra (Angus), Darlene, Marlene (Brian) and stepson Larry (Bev).

Grandchildren Dave (Kiyoka), Blaine (Tina), Nathan, Jamie (Blade), Melissa (Kevin), Mike (Marianne), Sean (Sam), Kali, Marcus (Audrey); great grandchildren Logan, Cutter, Zak, Zoe, Myles, Waylon, Henry & Auden.

Her Legacy of Love Remains!

1 Corinthian 13:13 says, "Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.”

A celebration of life for Margaret will be held Saturday, July 9, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Henderson's Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 45901 Victoria Ave, Chilliwack, BC V2P2S9.
