November 7, 1951 - December 14, 2015 It is with much love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Linda (Hansen) Canning, beloved wife of Wayne Canning; mother of Terry and Lisa; grandmother to Cody and Madison; and sister of Susane, John, Allan and Tom. Linda was the Matriarch of the Hansen Clan after the death of her mother and father, Birthe and Axel Hansen in 1988/89. Under her Matriarchy Linda saw the Canadian Hansen's grow to over 50 family and extended family members who visited regularly to share life, stories and togetherness. A Celebration of Life will be held this Saturday, December 19 at her brother Allan's house (in Surrey) from 2-4 p.m. Please, in lieu of flowers please make a donation to the BC Cancer Society. -
