Karl Heinz Blum

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Karl Heinz Blum, aged 87, on March 10, 2025, in Chilliwack, British Columbia. Born on November 27, 1937, in Wiesbaden, Germany, Karl lived a quiet and peaceful life, deeply rooted in his love for nature and solitude.

Although Karl kept to himself, he was known by those close to him as a kind-hearted, thoughtful individual with a quiet strength. His love for the outdoors, his appreciation of beauty in nature, and his peaceful demeanor will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

Karl is survived by his wife, Ursula Blum; his sons, Dieter (Kathy) and Harald (Shelley); his grandchildren, Hanni (Jasko), Cameron (Jacqueline), and Haley (Tyson); his great grandchildren, Maximilian, Norabel & a new baby boy; and his sister, Hanni Neid.

A Service of Remembrance will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 11:00 am at Henderson’s Funeral Home, 45901 Victoria Avenue, Chilliwack, BC V2P 2S9.
