Janet Brooks nee Anderson (Jacobsen) passed away on June 12, 2020 in Chilliwack, BC at the age 83 years. Janet was born in Elk Point, Alberta. Janet is survived by Ken Jacobsen; 3 daughters: Joanne, Lori and Sandra; grandchildren Ryan, Charmayne, Dominic, Jordan, Dylan and Brodie; great grandchildren Samuel, Noah, Josiah, Benjamin, Hope, Grayson and Emma; brother Rodney and Janet's of late companion Archie. She was predeceased her parents Lester W Anderson, Beatrice Anderson/Warwick and her second husband Allen Brooks.
Janet had a successful career in nursing at Maple Ridge Hospital. Jane always enjoyed travel. She also volunteered at the Alliance Church in Chilliwack and at Promontory Lake Estates. She enjoyed Probus and Crown Jewels.
A Celebration of Life will be announced when the Covid-19 Pandemic allows for larger gatherings. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
