James had a diverse career, working as a long haul truck driver and electrician, among many other jobs over the years. His passion for music was evident as he played the drums in many bands. He also had a love for travel, exploring Canada and the US with his beloved wife, Sharon, who predeceased him.
James is survived by his children: Kyle Galpin (Tanya), Sara Olivier (Dan) and Jamie Galpin (Kristy) and Grand-children: Hailey, Brady, Abigail, Eliana, Madilyn and Hunter.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Carol, Dan, and the whole family for their care and support during James's final days.
Family and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life on Tuesday, July 30th, at the Woodlawn Mt Cheam Funeral Home located at 45865 Hocking Avenue in Chilliwack, BC from 11am-12pm, followed by a reception from 12pm-2pm.
