It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a kind and caring soul, James Stewart Cavers. He passed away peacefully on his 83rd birthday, March 14, 2025, after a year of declining health. Jim lived a fulfilling life and took great pride in his military career with the RCAF from 1959 to 1984, which allowed him to travel the world. He had many interests and was an exceptional soccer player as well as a master woodworker. Jim loved most sports and was known for his smile that could light up a room. He was predeceased by his first wife, Cathy; his son, Shawn; and his parents, Russell and Verna Cavers. Jim is survived by his wife, Denise, and his extended family, including his brother Don, niece Annalise (Steve and their children), nephew Tristan (Michelle and their daughter), and nephew Donavan. Jim always held a special place in his heart for his cousin, Patsy Greyell. Words cannot express how much Jim will be missed. In accordance with Jim's wishes, there will be no service.
