With great sadness we announce the passing of Dave after an 11 year journey with Alzheimer’s Disease. He is survived by his loving wife and soul-mate, Beverley; son, Gary (Cathy); daughter, Julie Rogers (Glen); granddaughter Delisa Witton (Brock); grandsons, Michael Smith and Rodger Williams; sisters Margaret Stewart and Betty Young (Jim); his little buddy, great grandson Xander; and great granddaughter Princess Jordan; Aunt Peg Lyth; and many nieces and nephews.

Dave was a wonderful family man and a great friend. He had a lifelong love of custom cars, spending many hours working on them. We will celebrate Dave’s life with an open house and many happy memories and stories on Sunday, February 5, 2012 from noon to 4 pm at the clubhouse at 9055 Ashwell Rd, Chilliwack.

The family would like to thank Dr. Ho, the staff of CGH ER, Dr. Markey, and staff at Eden Care Home for their care of Dave, support and guidance to the family through this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.
