Colleen Elaine Stewart passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at Chilliwack BC at the age of 74.
Colleen will be sadly missed by her family Mom, Noreen Stubley, her sister Garnette Stubley and brother George Stewart. She leaves behind her son Garnet Rogers (Theressa Nakucyj) and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be missed by many friends, especially Susan who was like a daughter to her.
She was predeceased by her daughter Eunice Rose Rogers, father Melvin Stewart and Grandma and Grandpa Burton and brother Calvin.
Colleen was born to Noreen and Melvin in Fort St. John in 1946. She grew up in the North Peace region before settling in Chilliwack in the early 70's. She was active in her community providing first aid services at many pow wows and other community events. Colleen had many jobs over the years but her favourite was the 20 years she spent at the Chilliwack Heritage Park.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date.
