Brian H Chinery

Brian Chinery passed away peacefully on April 9, 2011 at Cascade Hospice, Chilliwack at the age of 76 years. He is survived by his children, Samantha (Brad) and Gary (Lori); grandchildren, Cameron, Brianne, Dakota and Levi and Lori’s children, Tyler and Lyndsay as well as numerous family and friends in Canada and England. Brian was sadly predeceased by his wife, Dawn in 2009.

Born June 17, 1934 at home in Bangor, Wales, Brian joined the RAF at a young age as an electrician’s apprentice. He served for 24 years. He met the love of his life Dawn “Blod” in 1954 and they wed in 1956. Brian and Dawn spent the next 53 years raising their children and exploring the world. From Cyprus, Bahrain, England and then to Canada, Brian made many lifelong friends. The family immigrated to Canada in 1974 and Brian loved everything about it. He worked at Sea-Span and P&H for many years. Brian enjoyed his golf, but his passion was “Football” and he was a lifelong Manchester United fan.

Gary and Samantha would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all Brian’s friends for the support and love given to our Dad, through this difficult time.
