Virginia Allene (Sally) Edwards

Mrs. Virginia Allene (Sally) Edwards age 75 of Harpersville, Al passed away on April 14, 2012 at her residence. Funeral services for Mrs. Edwards will be on Tuesday Apirl 17, 2012 at 2PM at the Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel. Visitation will be on Tuesday April 17, 2012 from 1-2PM at the Childersburg Chapel. Burial will be in Harpersville Cemetery. Survivors are her Husband; Jimmie Edwards of Harpersville; Daughters; Debbie (Brian) Smith of Vincent, Al; Kathy (Andrew) Weyburn of Harpersville; Janice Edwards of Harpersville; Judy Edwards of Rowlette, Tx; Brother; Gerald Meherg of Tuscumbia, Al;Grandchildren: Amanda (Jonathan) Gibson, Melissa Smith, Kevin Joiner, Kaydra Weyburn.Great Grandchildren; Brennan Gibson, Gracie Phillips. Pallbearers: Brian Smith, Jonathan Gibson, Kevin Joiner, Andrew Weyburn, Dewayne Edwards, Joseph Dobbs and P.J Edwards. Mrs. Edwards was a very loving and wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She loved the outdoors, cooking (everyone loved to eat at "Mamaw's Kitchen" and caring for her family, especially her husband. She was the heart, soul and peacekeeper of the Edwards family. She lost the battle after twelve years to cancer. Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel will direct the servcie.
