Ms. Martha Faye Vick Parker, age 72, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2015 at Coosa Valley Medical Center in Sylacauga. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel. Visitation will be held Saturday, September 19 from 12:00-2:00 PM. Burial will follow in Kahatchie Cemetery.
Ms. Parker was survived by three children, Hugh Parker, Jr. (Kay), Dorothy Etress (Robert) and Cindi Thompson (Frankie); sister, Mildred Barnett, 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Virgil Parker, Sr.
Ms. Parker loved spending time with her family. The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Bridges and his wonderful staff.
Pallbearers will be Kraig Mock, Jeff Havens, Chris Norris, Scott Vick, James Webber and Michael Webber.
