Francilia (Fran) Butts Harry, age 71, of Foley, Alabama was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, May 8, 2024. Services will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Childersburg, Saturday, May 11, 2024. Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00 PM, service at 2:00 PM and graveside at Childersburg Cemetery.
Fran graduated from Childersburg High School in 1970.
Fran is preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Ruth Butts; brothers Joe Butts, Tony Butts (wife Sandra Butts) and Don Butts. She is survived by her devoted husband of 53 years, Frankie; her daughter Tracey Matthews (fiance Matt Harris); and her son Tim Harry (fiance Amber Brown); and her granddaughters, Katelin Matthews and Joselin Matthews; her brother Marc (Faye) Butts; her sisters-in-law, Maria Butts and Judie Butts.
Fran was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Childersburg for many years and then to the Methodist Church in Orange Beach for many years after their move to Orange Beach and Foley. She spent several years working at the First Bank in Childersburg before going to work as a postal carrier in Childersburg. She knew everyone in town and always had a smile on her face. Fran was loved by all that ever met her. She was a member of the Garden Club, New Comers Club, Martha Missions in Orange Beach and was very active in her church.
