Mrs. Flossie Shaw Shaw Davis

1923-2010

Mrs. Flossie Shaw Davis, age 86, of Talladega, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2010 at Golden Living Nursing Home in Pell City. Flossie was a Christian who served her Lord through different ministries in her church--Calvary Baptist Church. She worked in retail for 12 years and the medical field for 18 years. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Her children and grandchildren were her life. Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her mother and father. She is survived by her daughters: Patsy Green (Freddie) of Talladega, AL; Charlotte Sumners (Glenn) of Baton Rouge, LA; Sandra Fuller (Russell) of AL; Paulette Vick (Rickey) of Talladega; Brothers: LeRoy Shaw, Calvin Shaw, A.D. Shaw and Raymond Shaw, all of Alabama; Sisters: Ruby Melton and Louise Rice of Alabama; Grandchildren: Scarlett Snider (Earl) of AL; Angela Salamone (Joey) of TN; Melanie Hall (Mark) of GA: Lance Baker (Jennifer) of AL; Laura Sumners of LA; Jodee Vick (Liz) of AL; Josh Baker (Beka) of TN; Jay Vick of AL; and Eric Fuller of AL. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren. Visitation for Mrs. Davis will be Saturday, March 6th, from 6-8 PM at Curtis and Son Funeral Home Childersburg Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 2PM on Sunday, March 7th at 2PM at Calvary Baptist Church under the direction of Rev. Wayne Lowe. Serving as pallbearers will be: Jodee Vick, Jay Vick, Josh Baker, Lance Baker, Eric Fuller, Earl Snider, Mark Hall, and Joey Salmone.
