Dear Lauren and Family.  So sorry to hear of the passing of your mom. Although I only know Lauren, she is a special friend.  I know you will miss many the good times you had with your mom, but as time passes it will get easier.

It was a pleasure to have been a part of Big Winnie 's life, I did not visit as often as I should but but I never stop thinking about her

It is with great sadness  I am writing  this message over the loss of a friend, This beautiful woman inside and out was a wonderful friend, I hope she forgives me for the times I did not visit, I will always remember Big Winnie and her smile, that day I went to give her a flu shot and she had the flu I tried to get her to postpone her trip home, but she said no way,  she was going home the weather is better at home

Our family first met the Lewises when our eldest
 brother Vibert brought Lynette to meet us.  They
then got married and we became one big family.
We had wonderful days in Guyana having parties,
Christmases, celebrating birthdays Etc.  I could 
remember going to Aunt Winnie's to have my hair
done and we always had tea at 3o'clock. One thing
I remember her for was that beautiful laugh she
had I could almost hear it now.  We love you Aunt
Winnie and we will always remember you -
May the angels lead you into Paradise and may
You find eternal rest in Christ.  So long Aunt Winnie
parting is such sweet sorrow.
