Vasiliki "Bessie" Kouvaras (nee Kollaros) was born in 1933, in Pyrgos Tinos, Greece to the late Cosmas and late Marina (nee Gekos) Kollaros. She resided in Chicago from 1953 and spent her final years with her beloved daughter Maria, in Mesa, Arizona. She was known to be an excellent cook and baker and loved making cookies and cakes for her grandchildren, family, and friends. Beloved wife of the late Konstantinos (Gust) Kouvaras. Loving mother of Maria (Late Michael) Capola, Peter (Robin) Kouvaras, Evan (Eva) Kouvaras. Cherished Grandmother of Nikki (Dave) Chapman, Kelly (Paul) Howse, Candice (Eric) Langley, Kyla Kouvaras, Joanna and Deana Kouvaras. Great Grandmother to Gannon, Jason, Julia, Alexis, Kylie and Zachary. Dear Sister of the late Penelope "Popi" (late Christos) Kyriakopoulos. Fond Aunt of Honorable Anthony C. (Eva) Kyriakopoulos, Katherine (Christ) Callas, Marina and Christos Kyriakopoulos, Gregory and Andrew Callas, Nick (late Pat) Kouvaras, John Kouvaras, George (Janet) Kouvaras, Nick, Alex, and many other nieces and nephews.
