So sorry for your lost. My your family allow you to talk when the need arises and be quiet when that need arises as well. Our Lord and Savior Jesus knew how to do that perfectly as stated in 2 Chronicles 6:29 where it states " Each one has his own pain and his own plaque".

Tim was our next door neighbor for several years until just recently, when he moved just a block away. We would wave to each other in the mornings from our respective decks, catching up a bit. In the morning, he'd have some coffee. In the evening, maybe a glass of wine. Always a smile and a wave. I also saw him walking those little dogs, Ollie & Astrid, just about every day. We'd stop and spend time talking about all sorts of things, in the news, in the neighborhood, restaurants. Those dogs loved him. When he fell ill, he still made it a point to walk those dogs when he could, and he walked to the grocery store and around the block just to keep moving. As many times as I offered to help in one way or another, he'd say no. If he didn't keep trying to move, trying to stay active, he was afraid he'd never be able to continue. Things got very rough for him in that final year, both physically and emotionally. The last time I saw him, about three weeks before his death, he was pushing a walker going into the little grocery store on the corner. I held the door open and asked if he wanted me to help him shop. Nope, he said, I can do it. Such an independent spirit, such a lovely man. I'm so, so sorry he is gone. My condolences to his family and loved ones.
