Hello,
My names Evette. As a little girl my dad ( Chuck Liphardt) owned a small tavern called the wrightwood inn. Both Timmy and Terry played on my dads softball team that the bar sponsored,  “ the wreckers” I have the absolute fondest memories of some of his team players, and their girlfriends or wives,  and barbecues, enough so that I looked up sone names to see what came of many and sadly came across Terrys memorial. He seemed to have a full and wonderful life. I moved away to Ca at 18 when my parents split.I had great memories and remembered Terry being a new officer. Always deepest respect for officers.  I just retired after 20+years as a firefighter &  my husband also 25+ years and wondered if Terry continued as a Chicago officer. I have many old pics of both Timmy and Terry that I found in my dads things after he passed. Just thought I’d share that though they were not life long friends the short time he had a positive impact on me. Both Terry and Timmy made me laugh. Thanks for allowing me to share. May he RIP.

My favorite and funniest memory was when Terry wore a scary mask and scared our brownie troop at Indian Road. He played the perfect part. You always greeted me with a smile and kind words. You will be missed my friend!

Uncle Terry wasn’t only one of CPD’s finest, he was a Mullins’ finest. He was truly a kind, decent, giving, compassionate and brave soul. He did so much good for so many people through his lifetime. He was always our protector. Knowing Uncle Terry was always there for us and on our side gave us strength and unity as a family. While those of us left are feeling deep grief, I know my grandparents and my mother are feeling extreme joy and welcoming him home with open arms. We will all be together again one day united as family. Until then we will carry him in our hearts and when we see that twinkle in his eye and meet Uncle Terry again, we will then know we are truly home. I believe he will be playing in the band when we arrive. Love you dearly Uncle Terry.

It was always a pleasure to work with you Terry. You treated outside units as colleagues, not as intruders. A true professional that was loved, and respected by those who worked for him, and those that worked with him. Anyone that knew him will miss him. God speed my friend.

Deeply sorry for the loss of Coach Mullins. He always believed in me on the field and it's something I won't forget. Great coach and even better father and human being. I know there's a lot of Raiders out there who are hurting. I'm thinking of the Mullins Family during this very difficult time. 

Our condolences are extended to the family of Sgt. Terrence Mullins on behalf of the Chicago Police Sergeants Association.  May his soul rest in peace.

      Terry was always known as a good man who did his best to guide other officers not to sweat the small stuff. He will be sorely missed.
