Aunt Stella Nanos, 98, of Evanston Illinois. Youngest of three children to Kallori and James Nanos; older brother Anthony Nanos died in WWII and younger brother late WWII vet, William Nanos. Adoring nieces Maria Nanos (Lynn Briskin) and Stella Nanos (John) Scali. Worked at the University of Illinois as a cytotechnologist for 30 years and was awarded the esteemed George Papanicolaou Award in 1958, authored dozens of scientific papers and never stopped learning.
