Stefan Nowik, age 84, of the Northwest Side of Chicago, IL, was born into life in Poland on July 10, 1933 and born into eternity on September 10, 2017. Stefan was the most loving husband of Zofia Nowik (nee Melka); loving father of Joseph S. (Graciela nee Santiler) Nowik and John M. Nowik; adoring grandfather of Steven V. Nowik, Joseph A. Nowik, Jonathan M. Nowik, Cosette A. Nowik, Brendan J. Nowik and Cassie D. Nowik; beloved brother of Maria (the late Michael) Szemiot and the late Anthony Nowik; dear son of the late Joseph & Maria Nowik.
Stefan was a Union Steward of the Sheet Metal Workers Local 73 and retired after more than 40 years of service at American Screen Printing Company near Noble and Grand Avenue, Chicago, IL.
Stefan was a former faithful member of St. Fidelis Parish of Chicago and an active member of St. Priscilla Parish of Chicago where he served as an usher and Bingo Assistant.
Stefan was an avid Philatelist, Numismatic and loved nature when he wasn't watching Wheel of Fortune or Jeopardy.
