Scott D. Richards, 66, of Chicago, IL passed away on November 21, 2024. He was born on May 18, 1958 in Lawrence, KS to Allen Herbert Richards, Jr. and Helen Grace Priddy.
He lived in Mexico, Missouri as a teenager. While in High School he worked for a Florist shop. That's where his love of Flowers began. After Graduation he began hitchhiking across the country, having many adventures then landing in Chicago where he met his wife.
Scott enjoyed Cooking, Gardening, Woodworking, Antiques and Las Vegas. He loved his dogs and was always there for family & friends. He worked for many years in Hardware stores where his coworkers became his second family.
Scott is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years Tina (née Gomez), his loving cousin Anne Osborne Howard (husband Michael), and loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A celebration of Scott’s life will be held at a later date.
