Rosemary A. Poremba of West Allis, WI died September 29, 2016 in Hobart, Indiana after a brief illness. She was born in Chicago, IL to Mary and Leo Bochantin. She was preceded in death by her husband and childhood sweetheart Allen J. Poremba and also her brothers John (Adrienne) Bochantin and Don (Dorothy) Bochantin. She is survived by her son, David Poremba, and many nieces and nephews. Rosemary was a skillful baker and hostess who always seemed to have a cake or plate of kolaczki ready for any guests that may drop by. She was loved by many and will be missed by all that knew her. Visitation for Rosemary will be held on Friday, October 7th from 6:30 – 9:00 pm and on Saturday, October 8th from 9:00-11:00 pm at Malec and Sons Funeral Home, 6000 N. Milwaukee Avenue in Chicago, IL. A brief Catholic Chapel Service will follow at 11:00 am with interment proceeding to Maryhill Cemetery.
