Ramon Nieves, 74, of Chicago, beloved husband of Martha nee Urquiaga; devoted father of Iris (Gus) Andersson, Sandra (Jose) Ortiz, Aida (Dan) Solis and Raymond (Aubrey) Nieves; cherished grandfather of 8 and great grandfather of 4; adored brother of Ana, Felipe, Angelo, Gloria and the late Hermino “Millo”, Juana, Juan and Bienvenido; loving uncle to many nieces and nephews; preceded in death by his parents Felipe and Maria “Pita” Nieves; dear friend of Shortie. Visitation Monday 3-9pm at The Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home 6901 W. Belmont Avenue Chicago where prayers will be said Tuesday 9:30 am to St. Hedwig Church for a 10:30 am mass.
