I did not have the privilege of  personally meeting Rachel  but know how deeply loved she was by her family and friends through her mother, Margaret who is a dear friend of mine.  I know Rachel is at home with her Heavenly Father. Our prayers are with her loving family. May her beautiful soul,  as well as all of you be blessed.

Our Condolences go out to the John Burke family. I knew Rachel from the Daley Bicentennial days. She was a wonderful young lady! May she Rest In Peace!

To all of Rachel's family members, I want to say how sad I am for yours loss. I was lucky enough to have known her as that sweet little girl. And watch her grow to be and amazing caring and thoughtful woman. So many memories. I will always remember the apple pie. The perfect gift when I became an American Citizen. I can still here your laugh as you gave it to me. I will always be grateful for having you in my life as a cousin, a friend and for being my Raindance partner.

To my family, 
I wish I could say something that eases this loss. Truthfully, I am at a loss myself. All I can say is that I will keep Rachel's life memory burning in my heart.... we would joke throughout our life "That's a Burke for you!" That same strong will resonates through us. Please know that when you need, one of us will be there. I will speak to Rachel in the quiet of my own heart. One day, we will meet again.

There are no words to express both our condolences to Rachel's family and our sorrow in losing such a wonderful friend.  Instead, during this horrifically sad time, we would like to thank Rachel's family for sharing her with all of us.  We could not have asked for a more selfless friend.  Rachel always stood by us - in good times and bad.  She taught us to enjoy life and to find the good in even the worst of situations.  While we cannot begin to fathom the thought of not hearing her voice and listening to the hearty laugh that was so uniquely Rachel, we are thankful for the years that we were blessed to have had with her.  Rachel will be missed by so many.  We are humbled to be among those she called a friend.  Rachel was an amazing woman...a fantastic friend, a loving daughter and sister and she was the best Mommy ever to all of her fur babies.  Rest in peace, Rachel.  We love you and will miss you.  XOXO

It's hard to think that you are no longer here with us. I keep remembering how you and Uncle Jim used to talk about football and Nascar! I know how much you meant to him and how lost he must feel, but the best picture of the two of you, was at our wedding! We will miss you!
