Patricia Ann Sloper

Patricia Ann Sloper, age 81 passed away on Friday, May 10, 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born on March 17, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois. Patricia was daughter of the late Henry Sloper (Uncle Henry Cukierka) and Clorraine (Klodzia) Sloper nee Chmiola. Loving sister to Patrick Henry Sloper (Kaila Blaskowski). Numerous beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, students, colleagues and friends. Dear friend to sister Agnes Cunningham SSCM. Finally, the special bond with fellow members of the community of the Sisters of the Holy Heart of Mary with whom Patricia spent several years in early adult life.

Spent 55 years as an Educator. Whether as an English teacher or as a Guidance Counselor, she positively impacted thousands of students from Kindergarten through High School splitting those years between the Chicago area and Las Vegas area. She earned a Bachelor’s degree and two Master’s degrees in the education field.

Memorial visitation on Saturday July 27, 2024 at 9:30 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. James Catholic Church, 5730 W Fullerton Ave, Chicago, Illinois 60639.
