Patricia B. Maduzia, 75 years, sadly passed away Monday, May 3, 2021 at Silver Cross Hospital. Patricia was born November 19, 1945 in Chicago to Thaddeus Krason and Florence (Solek) Krason. Surviving Patricia is her husband, Walter, her son, Michael Maduzia (Kathy Casper-Madeja), daughter, Michelle Siegfried (Walter Siegfried), son, David Maduzia (Vanessa Maduzia), granddaughter Mikah Maduzia, granddaughter, Emma Siegfried, grandson, Mason Siegfried, granddaughter, Ava Maduzia.
She is also survived by her sisters: Carol (Basil) Romaniszak, Susan (Tom) Jurevis, Judith Krason, Donna (Helen Cousineau) Krason and the late Dennis Krason.
On September 24, 1967, she married Walter Maduzia. They lived and raised their family in Burbank, IL. First elected International Polka Queen (1966), proud member and former director of the International Polka Association (IPA), member of the United States Polka Association (USPA) and member of Let’s Polka USA.
Retired Logistics Manager from Corn Products. She was full of energy, loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, friends and family and enjoyed cheering for her Chicago sports teams. You could always find her on the dance floor or in front of the bandstand singing loudly for all to hear.
Please be mindful of time spent at the funeral home to allow others to visit. Visitation is Thursday, May 6, 2021 from 3pm to 8pm at Ridge Funeral Home, (Edward A Tylka, Manager) 6620 W. Archer Ave, Chicago, IL 60638. Funeral mass 11am on Friday, May 7, 2021 meeting at St. John Vianney Church, 401 Brassel St, Lockport, IL 60441 for an hour visitation prior to mass.
